NEET residential admission for 2027–28: the seven-step journey

Admission to RIMA is a privilege earned through alignment, not a choice from a list. Each step helps your family and ours decide, honestly, whether RIMA is right for your child.

Academic year: 2027–28Open houses: fixed Sundays, request the next dateBasis: our own assessment, not Class 10 marks

The seven steps

Not pushing does not mean being slow. Every enquiry gets a warm, quick reply that guides you to the next step.

  1. Watch Start Here

About an hour of videos on how RIMA thinks and works, on our YouTube channel.

  2. Readiness Profile

The student takes it online, after a parent gives consent. The report is instant.

  3. Counselling call

For aligned students, our team calls to set up a counselling conversation.

  4. Open house and visit

Every family sees the RIMA system presented, in person or online, with doctors on the panel.

  5. Parent Alignment

Each parent records what they understand, expect and commit to.

  6. Campus assessment

The student writes the academic tests on paper, on campus, with no devices.

  7. Admission

Confirmed after board results. Registration alone is not admission.

Step 1 lives on our YouTube channel, @NEETResidential: the Start Here playlist, about seven videos and an hour in all.

Dates by programme

Admission is confirmed after the relevant result. These are the windows we work to for 2027–28.

What we look at

  • Readiness and willingness: the student's Readiness Profile, and their willingness to go through the rigour of the programme.
  • Academic competency: the supervised campus assessment, on paper.
  • Parent alignment: the recorded Parent Alignment declaration.
  • Not Class 10 marks. Admission rests on our own assessment.

Rural and Kannada-medium students are not penalised for lack of exposure. A counsellor reviews every profile that shows "not yet" before any final word.

What it costs

One all-inclusive fee per programme, given in writing by the counselling team before registration.

  • Teaching, coaching and doctor mentoring
  • Hostel, all meals, yoga and sport
  • The full test programme
  • Care on campus
  • Scholarships and concessions considered on request

Admission questions

Is there an entrance exam?

There are two stages. The online Readiness Profile is a profile, not a pass-or-fail exam; it decides who is invited. The supervised campus assessment on paper decides who is admitted.

Does registration mean my child has a seat?

No. Registration is not admission. Admission is confirmed after board results.

Why must parents attend an open house?

Because a parent who understands the system makes it work for the child. Every family sees it presented, in person or online, with doctors on the panel.

What is the Parent Alignment declaration?

After the open house, each parent records what they understand, what they expect and how they align with the system. It is time-stamped and a copy is emailed to you. Read it.

What if my child is not ready yet?

We say so kindly and point you to the free layers: Exam Excellence for teaching and the NEET Coach playlist for coaching. Your child can take the profile again later.

Do you have limited seats?

Every campus has a fixed capacity, and we tell you where things stand when you ask. We never use seat pressure to hurry a family.

Can students join mid-year?

Ask us. It depends on the programme and the phase of the year; our answer will be honest about what a late start means.

I'm ready to apply.
