For NEET repeaters: one more year, done differently
If you are preparing to write NEET again, this page is for you. A repeat year is a choice. Not getting a seat was not a verdict on your ability.

Why didn't it work last time?
Most preparation fills the head with knowledge but does not change the person. Habits, attitudes and mindset are what turn knowledge into marks on the day.
Look honestly at last year. Was there travel every day? A phone on the desk? Nights cut short before tests? Re-reading instead of testing yourself? Marks checked, but mistakes never corrected? These are not character flaws. They are the six enemies, and they can be removed.
What changes this year
Your day
A residential routine with no travel and no phone, fixed sleep, sattvic food, yoga and sport.
Your method
Testing yourself without looking, notes in your own hand, and a full NEET-format test at every step, analysed question by question.
Your mindset
Process first, outcome free. Whatever is best possible now, you do, with doctors as mentors beside you.
Stated once, plainly
In 2026, about 11.2 lakh students qualified NEET for about 1.37 lakh MBBS seats (NTA and NMC, as of 2026). Many healthcare careers lie beyond MBBS, through BDS, AYUSH, nursing and allied courses. Whatever this year brings, the habits you build will serve you for life.

Questions repeaters ask
Should I repeat at all?
Read Should I drop a year for NEET? It works through scores, reasons and options honestly.
I'm over 18. Do my parents still need to be involved?
You can consent for yourself. We still invite your parents to the open house, because a family that understands the year makes it easier.
How is the year structured?
Five phases: adaptation, consolidation, mastery, high intensity and pre-examination, with tests getting more frequent as NEET approaches.
What if I feel low during the year?
Tell someone early: your warden, mentor or the campus director. Qualified psychologists visit on a fixed schedule.
Begin the year properly.
Take the Readiness Profile. It is a profile, not a pass-or-fail exam.
